Abstract

My efforts in this research work have been geared towards x-raying Fulani pastoralists' killings in Nigeria and its antecedents. The study seeks to unravel the controversies over the conflict, exploring whether it stems from socio-political factors or is an attempt to covertly Islamize the region. I recommend that the Nigerian government address these issues through inclusive policies that promote unity, recognizing the complexities of identity, religion, and socio-economic factors at play.
