Abstract

This research examines the impact of social entrepreneurship on community development, focusing on how social enterprises address social issues while promoting economic growth. The study begins with a literature review that outlines the principles of social entrepreneurship and its significance in addressing community needs. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research analyzes case studies of successful social enterprises, assessing their strategies and outcomes in various communities. Quantitative data on economic impact and social metrics are complemented by qualitative interviews with social entrepreneurs and community members. The findings reveal that social entrepreneurship can lead to significant improvements in community well-being, including job creation, enhanced access to services, and increased social cohesion. The research emphasizes the importance of supporting social enterprises through policy and funding mechanisms. The study concludes with recommendations for policymakers to foster social entrepreneurship as a viable strategy for community development.
