Exploring Gender Disparities in Leadership Roles in Corporate Settings
Abstract
This research explores gender disparities in leadership roles within corporate settings, examining the systemic barriers and cultural factors that contribute to unequal representation. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study analyzes quantitative data on leadership demographics alongside qualitative interviews with female leaders and their male counterparts. Key findings highlight persistent biases, lack of mentorship, and organizational cultures that hinder women's advancement. The research further identifies effective strategies for promoting gender equity in leadership, such as diversity training, mentorship programs, and policy reforms. Ultimately, the study emphasizes the importance of addressing gender disparities to foster a more inclusive and effective corporate environment, benefiting both organizations and society as a whole.
