The Influence of Educational Inequality on Social Mobility in Developing Countries
Abstract
This research analyzes how disparities in educational access and quality affect social mobility in developing nations. Using longitudinal data from World Bank and UNESCO reports, combined with field interviews in selected regions, the study finds that educational inequality remains a significant barrier to upward mobility. Factors such as rural-urban divide, gender, and socioeconomic status compound the problem. The paper recommends targeted policies to improve access to quality education for marginalized populations.
